World’s Most Ethical Companies New York: In March 2011, the Ethisphere Institute, New York, and Forbes business magazine again included Henkel in their “World’s Most Ethical Companies” ranking list. The companies in the list are assessed in the categories of corporate governance, innovation, executive leadership style, internal management systems, reputation management, and corporate citizenship.

100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World In January 2010, Henkel was again included among the “Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World”. The ranking was first compiled in 2005 by the economic research firm Innovest Strategic Value Advisors Inc. and the Canadian media organization Corporate Knights Inc. It is published annually at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The companies on this list are selected from the Morgan Stanley Capital International World Index for having best developed the ability - relative to their industry peers - to manage the environmental, social and economic challenges they face.

Sustainalytics DAX 30 Study Frankfurt a. M.: With its 2010 sustainability rating, Sustainalytics has again presented a comparative analysis of the sustainability performance for most of the German large scale enterprises listed on the DAX. Henkel received a top score and was ranked third among its peers. The comparative analysis is based on the so-called ESG-approach and covers environmental, social and governance criteria. ASPI Eurozone Paris: Henkel has been included in the Eurozone advanced sustainability performance index (ASPI) of the French rating agency VIGEO since 2001. Henkel’s rating was updated in February 2010.

Ethibel Index Paris: In 2008, as in previous years, Henkel was again one of the 200 companies worldwide listed in the Ethibel Sustainability Index, in the Pioneer class. This index includes companies on the basis of their outstanding commitment to sustainability.

ECPI Index Milan: In 2008, Henkel was confirmed in the ECPI Ethical Index EURO and ECPI Ethical Index €uro. The indices select the 150 top capitalized companies in the European market (EURO) and the European Economic and Monetary Union (€uro) which are eligible investments according to the ECPI Screening Methodology. ECPI S.r.I. belongs to Gruppo Mittel, S.p.A. and has introduced both Ethical Indices as long ago as 1999.
